Lands of America data shows $3 billion in land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale for sale in the Peach State. This represents a total of 375,780 acres of land for sale in Georgia. Of Georgia's 159 counties, Towns County had the most land and farms for sale. The most expensive land listed for sale in Georgia on Lands of America recently was $43 million, though the median price for farms, ranches and other land for sale in Georgia came in at $336,528. The average price of land for sale in Georgia was $651,903. There was 5,184 acres of sold land in Georgia recorded in July 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $14.5 million. Towns County recorded the most land sales recently in the state.
